2FA Device

Use any (TOTP) authentication app like
Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, etc.

Secret Key

You enter this Key in your 2FA Devices.
If you lose your Device, you can always
enter the Key in any new 2FA Device.

Renew Code

If your Secret Key ever gets compromised
use the Renew Code to get a new Secret Key.

2FA Renew

Only do this, if you lost your Secret Key,
or if it got compromised. If you still
have your Secret Key, manually enter it
in your 2FA Device instead.
